WESTBOURNE MEWS HOUSE

_W2

_ingARCHITECTS have recently been appointed to re-configure and extend a beautiful Mews House, in close proximity to Paddington Station and set within the Bayswater Conservation Area.

The brief includes the removal of an existing internal wall to an unused garage, creating a large, open plan Living/Dining and Kitchen space. Installation of new bi-folding glazing doors behind reconditioned hardwood garage doors provides floor to ceiling light and access to the front of the property.

Planning permission has been sought for the Loft extension to Second Floor. This will create a large Principal Suite, with a separate glazed home office. Replacement hardwood timber windows will re-instate a more traditional aesthetic to the exterior of the property, over the existing UPVC casements.

Internal re-configurations throughout the Ground and First Floors will transform the existing cramped and dark spaces to maximise light and usability.

The scheme is under construction.

SCOPE
Replacement Hardwood Windows throughout, including installation of bi-folding doors, concealed behind re-instated Garage Doors.

Second Floor Loft extension and creation of new Principal Suite/Floor.
